1) President: ISU volunteers are up, dinner is Saturday, 6 PM, Old Nelson Banquet Hall. Tickets are $7, can be purchased from Russell.
2) Librarian: talking about two shows, * The Wolf and Her 7 Companions: comedy/romance/wham-bam-thank-you-ma’am. Parody Toradora and Railgun. Surprisingly sexual at times.
3) Vice-President: nothing to see here, move along!
4) Webmistress: Minutes are up and I need member pictures for the website!
5) Secretary: continue sending member information to her
6) Treasurer: still collecting money for Ohayocon. $35 until Oct 26.
7) Secretary: Member of the Month is Carol, for her artistic contribution. The decision to carry points over from month-to-month has yet to be determined, but continue to do stuff for JCON.

- Story of betrayal in the mafia, guy betrayed by his friend, comes back from the grave, seeks revenge.
Boogiepop Phantom – 120 min, M
- Centralized event that happens in Japan, pillar of light occurs and strange things happen. Told in a nonlinear fashion, kind of like Memento.
Elfen Lied – 90 min, M
- Psychotic female with split personality: murderous side, and childlike side.
Pompoko – 120 min, E
- Studio Ghibli, about raccoons that transform their testicles into parachutes.
Rosario + Vampire – 120 min, T
- Average boy goes to a school of monsters and has to pretend to be a monster. Lots of ecchi, lots of panty shots. Ghost Stories – 90 min, E - Scary story for children made in Japan, remains in the same timeslot and becomes more adult oriented. Gets cancelled, ADV buys it, remakes it. Girl’s mom dies, releases demons captured by her mom, has to reseal them up & capture them. Chaos Head – 120 min, T - Guy lives in a storage trailer on top of a building, gets pictures of this murder that happens, witnesses it, psychological thriller. Based on a visual novel. Ecchi lite. Rebuild of Evangelion – 120 min, T - Remake of Evangelion Bakamono – 90 min, T - Guy gets turned into a vampire, turns [ Detective Conan Phantom – 107 min, T Seikon no Qwaser – 120 min, M+
