The
March of Dimes and the new Petland store on East State
Street invite you and your favorite canine friend to
participate in the 2004 WalkAmerica Petland PetWalk.
By joining the WalkAmerica Petland PetWalk, you're
helping to save babies who are born too soon and too
small. Your contributions fund cutting edge research and
innovative oprograms that gvive tiny, premature babies a
fighting chance.
Each dog participating in the PetWalk will receive a free
"doggy bag" of dog treats. Water and treats for dogs will
be provided at Petland's K-9 Comfort Station located
along the WalkAmerica walking route. Bags for the
handling and removal of dog waste will be provided by
Petland prior to the beginnig of the PetWalk.

October 19, Time TBA: Seventh Annual March of Dimes
Wine, Beer and Cheese Tasting
Tempt
your taste buds with your choice of specialty beers from
around the world and fine wines served with imported
cheeses at the Ohio University Inn and Conference Center.
Tickets are $12 per person or $20 per couple and all
proceeds benefit the March of Dimes. There will be a
silent auction from 5:30 to 6:30, guest speakers Robert
Glidden and Gary North at 6:30 and a live auction at
6:45. Entertainment will be provided by the Hostetler
Jazz Quartet.
