Welcome new soccer lovers,

Hope you all had a great summer. This email account < oucssasoccer@yahoo.com > has been used and hopefully will be used to post messages on cssa mailing list. Every weekend, you will receive an email about our weekly pick-up game. Please feel free to join us ! Totally our Saturday ! Totally our game ! Our regular soccer game time is every Saturday 3:00 PM. During the summer and winter time, indoor soccer at Ping center of OU is highly preferred and the open hours of Ping center could be found at http://www.ohiou.edu/recreation/ping/index.htm . The spring and fall quarters are good seasons for outdoor soccer, therefore we usually meet at the Stimson Avenue field ( located on Stimson Avenue of Athens, right next to the junction of HWY 33/50/32 ), or Riverpark Towers field ( marked as #115 on OU campus map ). Our team coordinator will email and notify every team mate about the game time and location according to the local weather.

Currently besides the pick-up game every week, there are three most regular soccer matches every year we Chinese students and scholars actively participate in:

1. Outdoor/Indoor Soccer Tournament of Ohio University Intramural Sports

The Ohio University Intramural Sports provides students, faculty and staff with the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitive recreational sports. The entry dates of outdoor soccer tournament is tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, perhaps you've already known. The team composition is 7-player and we are trying to recruit a team. Please refer to http://www.ohiou.edu/recreation/is/index.htm  for details and contact us @ oucssasoccer@yahoo.com  with your name, valid email address, phone number and your class/work schedule . You don't wanna miss this exciting event, otherwise you will have to wait for another year to play!!

2. Ohio University World Cup

This outdoor tournament is organized purely by OU students and ususally will be held between April and May every year. Ideally students from different continents would form differnet teams, so there'd be five teams every year, or maybe plus a women's team. 
3. Friendly Games vs. Japanese/Korean students

We used to have a triangle tournament with Japanese/Korean students. Time and location need to be arranged.
