The purpose of the Ohio University Anthropology Club is to promote anthropology and anthropological discussion among students at Ohio University; to provide undergraduate input in the anthropology program in the department of sociology and anthropology at Ohio University; to collect and provide graduate school/ internship information for anthropology students; to attract anthropologists as guest speakers to Ohio University; to provide excursions that allow students to gain hands-on experience and out of class education; to provide tutoring sessions for students needing help in anthropology courses.
Mark Clemente Mark is a senior majoring in anthropology, specializing in biological anthropology and minoring in classical civilizations and history. He plans to apply to graduate school to study Roman bioarchaeology, paleopathology, paleoepidemiology, paleodemography, and forensic anthropology.
