Test Score at Ohio University

The Test Score Office replaced its scanner and scanning software effective 07/01/12.

Standard bubble sheets will work with the system and the basic process for submitting tests for grading has not changed.

The system offers multiple electronic formats, including PDF, Excel, and Access. Reports will not be printed or emailed by the Test Score Office .  Both the Registrar and OIT Security Office have stated that email is NOT an acceptable form for communicating FERPA protected data (i.e. grades) without further protection (i.e. encryption).  Therefore, OIT TestScore Office uses filelocker to encrypt and allow for secure download of test results (by faculty members).

The Test Score office will neither accept nor scan any data sheets that include Social Security numbers as student or subject identifiers.  As an alternative mechanism for identifying students and subjects, please use the nine digits of the student PID -- including the initial "000" or "001" -- which is guaranteed to be unique.
