Faculty and Advising Center (OASIS) * Faculty Class List * Advisee List * Dars "What If"

Support for the faculty center includes class lists, information and reports for student advisors, etc. Also in compliance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act requiring colleges and universities to disclose textbook prices when students begin online registration, pricing information entered into Textbook will be displayed automatically in the Course Offerings pages on the Registrar's Web site. In addition, the information will be sent directly to local bookstores, which eliminates the need for schools and departments to perform the task. Textbook utilizes a search service that retrieves author, title and publisher information when an ISBN number is entered. The program allows faculty members to configure multiple sections or combined courses at the same time, eliminating the need for duplicate entries. DARS "What if" capabiliy allows students to identify requirements for various (theoretical) degree programs. A student can enter a academic area of pursuit and the program will inform the student of classes that must be taken, etc., in order to earn a degree or certificate in that area of study.
