Summer registration status update

The university has confirmed that summer registration will open at 7:00 am on Saturday, April 30.

Service Desk and Registrar's office staff will be on site starting at 7:00 on Saturday to handle student questions as they arise.

University technical staff continue to troubleshoot the problems that delayed this morning’s scheduled opening of summer registration.

The My OHIO Student Center was brought back online briefly at 6:00 pm for troubleshooting purposes, and students were told that they could log in to check the status of their admissions and financial aid applications.  Summer registration remained turned off during this time slot.  The system now has been taken offline again for additional troubleshooting.  
                                                                                                                                                                                                                             
The soonest we anticipate registration being available is Friday, April 29 at 7:00 am.  Should additional delays be required, the university will again schedule the opening for a 7:00 am time slot to accommodate students who planned their availability around the original published time.

Because no students have been allowed to register yet, summer class availability remains as it was on Monday.

The new SIS has been taken offline until further notice.  Affected services include:

Faculty/staff

  • Astra Schedule
  • Hyland OnBase Admissions & Transfer Credit workflows
  • Learning Communities web tool
  • PeopleSoft administrative screens


Students

  • Summer registration
  • Financial aid status for the 2011-12 academic year
  • Admissions application status for summer 2011 and beyond
  • Learning Communities web tool
