Governance Committees 

Executive Steering Committee

  • This group ensures that adequate support is available to the program and that the program aligns with the goals of Vision OHIO.
  • Membership includes the President, Provost, CIO, VP for Finance & Administration, and the Chief of Staff.

SIS Advisory Group

  • This group helps prioritize the use of limited program resources and ensures that the project remains within its budget and scope.
  • Membership includes both academic and administrative representatives.

Capital Project Oversight Group

  • This group is charged with ensuring that all bond related expenditures are appropriate and responsible.
  • Membership includes representatives from the Vice President for Finance & Administration and the Office of Information Technology.

Constituent Advisory Groups

  • These groups provide the Rufus Initiative with guidance regarding the needs of their particular constituencies. 
    • Student Advisory Group - representative mix of graduate and undergraduate students
    • Faculty Technology Advisory Group (FTAG) - cross-disciplinary faculty group that advises OIT on all technology issues that affect faculty.
    • Faculty Policy Advisory Group (FPAG) - representatives from University Curriculum Council (UCC) and Faculty Senate
    • Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) - overall IT governance board with membership from all university constituencies
