Fall Move-In technical support options

To ease students' transition to campus during Fall Move-In, OIT will be offering multiple technical support options from Thursday, August 23 through Sunday, August 26.

OIT Green Teams

To help students register their devices on the network, OIT staff with black "NextGen" polo shirts and identification badges will be stationed on the greens from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (August 23-26) in the following locations:

  • Shively Dining Hall foyer (Morton Hall side)
  • Boyd Dining Hall foyer
  • Jefferson Dining Hall foyer
  • Outdoor canopy between O'Bleness and Crawford

OIT staff also will be roving through the residence halls during these same hours to offer on-the-spot assistance.

Tech Depot - walk-in and personal appointments

The Tech Depot on the first floor of Baker Center will be open for full service, walk-in technical support on the following days/times during Move-In:

  • Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday 8:00 am – 7:00 pm
  • Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
  • Sunday – closed

OIT Service Desk - Telephone support and Web requests

Full service telephone support will be available at 740-593-1222 on the following days/times during Move-In:

  • Thursday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Saturday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
  • Sunday 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
