Alden wireless goes live at 1:00 pm, April 26

The Alden Library wireless upgrade that was scheduled for April 30 has been moved up to April 26 at 1:00 pm.

NextGen wireless in Alden - few questions, lots of smiles.

To access wireless in Alden after the new system comes online:

  1. Connect to the "OHIO University" wireless network (note the capitalization)
  2. Log in with your OHIO ID and password.
    If you receive a security certificate warning, make sure it says:
    securelogin.oit.ohio.edu, AddTrust External CA Root
    before you continue.

If you have any questions, call 740-566-WIFI (9434) or send e-mail to wireless@ohio.edu. OIT staff also will be available in Alden on April 26 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm on the second and fourth floors.
