The university community is invited to participate in the selection process of a lecture capture solution for Ohio University. Lecture capture is a technology that can be used to easily record live lectures (or other performances/activities), save the content to a server, and then make that content easily accessible to students or others.
Three of the five vendors who responded to the university's RFP have been invited to the Athens campus for a "bake off" interactive demonstration and Q/A session. The schedule is as follows:
All events will take place in the Friends of the Library Room (Alden 319) and will have the following agenda:
All participants at these events will be asked to fill out an evaluation form. Completed evaluation forms will be used to help decide which vendor will receive an invitation to provide a pilot during fall semester.
