The first step is to determine if you have Outlook installed, and if so, which version. To check which version of Outlook you have, click Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office. You should see or Microsoft Office Outlook 2010, Microsoft Office Outlook 2007 or Microsoft Office Outlook 2003.
If you see Outlook 2010, follow these steps for configuring Outlook 2010 Instructions: How to create a new profile in Outlook 2010
If you see Outlook 2007, follow these steps for configuring Outlook 2007 Instructions:
New Outlook 2007 Users - Click here
Current Outlook 2007 Users - Click here
If you see Outlook 2003, OIT recommends that you upgrade to Outlook 2007. You can install Outlook 2007 without updating your version of Office.
If you have a University owned computer and do not have Outlook, you can obtain a departmental copy of Office 2010. You can also purchase Outlook 2007 from the OIT website.
If you need to install Outlook at home on a non-University owned computer, you can purchase Office Professional Plus 2010 from the Technology Depot (Athens Campus) or your regional campus.
