Setup your e-mail on a Windows PC

OIT recommends Outlook 2010 or Outlook 2013 for accessing your Exchange email, calendar and contacts on a Windows PC.

The first step is to determine if you have Outlook installed, and if so, which version.  To check which version of Outlook you have, click Start -> All Programs -> Microsoft Office.  You should see or Microsoft Office Outlook 2010 or Microsoft Office Outlook 2007.

If you see Outlook 2010, follow these steps for configuring Outlook 2010 Instructions: How to create a new profile in Outlook 2010

If you see Outlook 2007, OIT recommends that you upgrade to Outlook 2010.  You can install Outlook 2010 without updating your version of Office.

If you have a University owned computer and do not have Outlook, you can obtain a departmental copy of Office 2010.

If you need to install Outlook at home on a non-University owned computer, you can purchase Office Professional Plus 2010 from the Technology Depot (Athens Campus) or your regional campus.
