Dialing Regional Campus Extensions

 

Regional campus extensions may be dialed as local calls by entering the appropriate prefix, waiting for a dial tone, then dialing the 3 or 4 digit extension number.

Please note - once the regional campus is upgraded to the new phone system these tie lines are no longer used.  Each campus will be noted below once they are upgraded.  To dial these campuses once they are upgraded, please refer to the note below with each campus.
 

Campus Prefix Extension
Chillicothe - Upgraded    
If you are on the Athens campus calling from a Cisco phone (new system), please dial the number direct (10 digits) - this is a free call.  If you still have an old phone please call 31000 and they can connect you - otherwise you must dial the long distance number.    
Zanesville - Upgraded    
If you are on the Athens campus calling from a Cisco phone (new system), please dial the number direct (10 digits) - this is a free call.  If you still have an old phone please call 31000 and they can connect you - otherwise you must dial the long distance number.    
Lancaster (including Pickerington) 823 3 digits
Southern (including Proctorville) 825 4 digits

Athens (from any regional campus that has NOT been upgraded)  85  5 digits 


Regional Switchboards
For a regional campus switchboard that has NOT been upgraded, dial the appropriate prefix, wait for the dial tone, then dial 0.
