 As the largest and oldest college in the university, the College of Arts & Sciences offers undergraduate and graduate progams in areas as diverse as biological sciences, English, and psychology as well as foreign languages, history and physics.
Our 19 departments offer 28 major programs, 26 minor programs, 5 certificate programs, and many other special programs in specific career-related areas. In addition, 16 of our departments offer Master degree programs and eight offer programs leading to the Doctor of Philosophy degree. The College has three area requirements--humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as general College requirements. Specific departmental requirements are described on the academic department home pages.
