When Brian Clark, BBA '99, and Demi Kympton Clark, BSJ '99, exchanged wedding vows last summer, they had no idea their school spirit would be so contagious.

Married in Alexandria, Va., on June 16, the Clarks held their reception aboard an 1800s riverboat on the Potomac River -- complete with an Ohio University flag flying on high. Even some 350 miles away from Athens, the flag and the Bobcats on board received a warm welcome.

"There were people on other boats who saw us and the flag and were yelling, 'Go Bobcats!'" Demi says.

The Clarks felt a Bobcat theme was appropriate when they realized how many alumni were participating in and attending their wedding. The wedding party included groomsman Chris Shewring, BSH '99, and bridesmaids Julie Mercer, BSC '99; Jamie Belcher, BBA '01; Stacie Miller, BSSPS '99; Erika Scott, BSH '00, currently a master's student; and senior Heather Clark.

The bride and groom recently moved to Savannah, Ga., where Demi is attending the Savannah College of Art and Design and Brian is an analyst with American Management Systems.
