Nominations for the annual Charles J. and Claire O. Ping Recent Graduate Awards and the annual Distinguished Service Award are due Sept. 15. Both alumni and friends are eligible to nominate candidates for the awards sponsored by the Alumni Associatio n.
The Ping Award honors up to two alumni each year who are leaders in their communities and have maintained an active interest in the university. Nominees need to have earned a degree within the past 15 years.
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes alumni who have made exceptional contributions of time, talent and creativity on behalf of alumni chapters, constituent societies, the Alumni Association, and the university's colleges, schools and departments.
