Donna Moore Ramsey, BS '62, has been appointed to a four-year term as a commissioner of the North Central Association, Commission on Institutions of Higher Education. She is an assistant professor of medical assisting/medical laboratory technology at Cuyahoga Community College in Cleveland.

Peter Diamond, BBA '65, was named vice president of the Dallas office of the executive search firm Korn/Ferry International, where he is responsible for information technology searches. He is a member of the Board of Governors for the Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind.

R.H. Taylor, BA '65, is vice chancellor of the University of Buckingham, the only private university in Britain. He formerly was a professor of politics and pro-director of the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London.

Elaine Jarchow, BSED '66, is a member of the executive committee of the Association of Colleges and Schools of Education in State Universities and Land Grant Colleges and Affiliated Private Universities. She is dean of the College of Education at Texas Tech University in Lubbock.

Walter C. Bean, BBA '67, is chief investment officer of C.S. McKee & Co. Inc. in Pittsburgh. An executive vice president of the company, he continues to serve as director of the firm's domestic and international equity investment process.

Joseph McCullough, MA '67, PHD '69, professor of English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, was one of two faculty selected to receive the Barrick Distinguished Scholar Award for the 1996-97 academic year. The award includes an unrestricted cash award of $5,000. An expert on the works of American humorist Mark Twain, McCullough twice served as a Fulbright lecturer in American literature in Greece and Finland.

Patricia Zanner Gebhart, BFA '68, MED '73, is manager of information systems for the Enrollment Management Division at Marshall University in Huntington, W.Va. She previously was associate director of admissions at Marshall. Her husband, Bernard R. "Skip" Gebhart, BSJ '68, MED '73, recently was elected chairman of the Board of Directors of the Friends of WPBY-TV in Huntington. He also is a member of the board of the West Virginia Public Broadcasting Foundation Inc.

Mike Jackson, BSED '68, is a member of the Board of Directors of the National Aeronautic Association, the nation's oldest aviation organization. A retired U.S. Air Force command pilot, he is executive director of the National Aviation Hall of Fame in Dayton.

James Mitchell Brown, BSJ '69, is vice chairman of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations' Economic Justice Committee. He is a partner at the Cleveland law firm of Brown and Margolius.

Richard J. Lefevre, BBA '69, is vice president for business affairs at Chowan College in Murfreesboro, N.C., where his wife, Jan, is director of news services. The former owner of a certified public accounting practice in Mount Vernon, he was chief fiscal officer at Chowan until his February promotion. Two of their four children are OU graduates.

Robert Lemon, MA '69, PHD '76, is a professor of art history at Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., where he also is chairman of the art department and campus coordinator for international service-learning. Lemon is president of the Southeastern College Art Conference, a 12-state professional organization.

Arthur Steller, BSED '69, MED '70, PHD '73, superintendent at Kingston (N.Y.) City Schools, has been elected to the five-member review council of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum, an international organization of 190,000 members.

Jerome M. Sullivan, BS '69, received the Jimmy A. Young Medal, the highest honor of the 36,000-member American Association for Respiratory Care. Sullivan is associate dean for instruction at the University of Toledo Community and Technical College and UT professor of health and human services. The association developed respiratory care clinical practice guidelines while Sullivan was president in 1990.
