Bryan Hall will kick off a year-long celebration of its 50th anniversary with a "Welcome Back to Bryan" open house and reception from 6:30-9:30 p.m. Oct. 18, the weekend of Homecoming. Bryan is the oldest building on the Athens campus serving as a residence hall. It is the current home to 150 students.
Besides the open house, the Bryan Hall Council is putting together a "Living Biography of Bryan Hall." The book will trace th e building's history through stories of its residents, past and present.
Former residents are asked to send their name, years they lived in Bryan, current address and job, and photos to: Jim Michnowicz, Bryan Hall 50th, 22 University Terrace, Athens, Ohio 45701. Stories relating to Bryan Hall also are welcome.
Event organizers would like photos of alumni today and when they lived in Bryan Hall.
