Stuart Sharpe, BFA '64, MFA '66, of Orange Village, Ohio, was elected a vice chair of the Council of Smaller Enterprises, the small business division of the Greater Cleveland Growth Association. He is president of Regional Reps Corp., which serves as a sales representative for a Cleveland-based radio station.

William Bainbridge, BSED '67, of Gahanna, Ohio, is a distinguished research professor at the University of Dayton and CEO of SchoolMatch, a school research and data consulting services company, of Columbus, Ohio.

William Jarvis, AB '67, the author of three articles on time capsule studies, has served as a consultant since 1978. His book, "Time Capsules: A Cultural History," will be published this year. He is a tenured library faculty member at Washington State University in Pullman, Wash.

Joseph McCullough Jr., MA '67, PHD '69, is a distinguished professor of English at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. He is co-editor of "The Bible According to Mark Twain," "Mark Twain at the Buffalo Express" and "Selected Letters of Hamlin Garland." A guest on an A&E biography of Mark Twain, he was the 2001 president of the American Humor Studies Association.

Suzanne Ryan Curran Dalston, AB '68, has been named corporate vice president for development at Continuum Health Partners in Manhattan. Previously she was vice president for development at the national headquarters of the Alzheimer's Association in Chicago and chairwoman of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy.

Glenda Guilliams, MS '68, of Coshocton, Ohio, is an associate professor of health promotion, human performance and leisure studies at Campbellsville University in Kentucky.

Barbara Lee Birkhimer, BSED '69, of Galloway, Ohio, retired in October after 27 years as a special education teacher.

Fred Fox, BBA '69, is bicycling coast to coast. He's two years into the endeavor, to which he devotes two weeks per year. Fox, who plans to cross Ohio in 2004, has owned Fox Independent Insurance Agency in Marietta, Ga., since 1990.

Loren Logsdon, PHD '69, and John McKenna, PHD '70, contributed to "Eureka Studies in Teaching Short Fiction," a journal to advance the teaching of fiction. Logsdon, a professor of English at Eureka College, edits Eureka Literary Magazine. McKenna is an English professor at the University of Nebraska at Omaha.

Mark Madden, AB '69, was named principal of Atherton High School in Burton, Mich., where he has taught English for 32 years. He also has served as the varsity boys' tennis coach for 26 years.

Stephen Matela, BSC '69, is director of broadcast development for NearWare Network Inc. of San Diego. The company buys advertising time on TV stations. He and his wife, Roberta Sciarrino, BSHE '71, live in Encinitas, Calif.

James Parsley Jr., MED '69, PHD '70, was honored when the Vancouver (Wash.) School District and Hewlett-Packard announced the completion of the Jim Parsley Center, a new education, family and community center. The center was named after Parsley, who has served as superintendent in Vancouver since 1980, at the request of community patrons.

Susan Waterman Onaitis, BSJ '69, is the author of the book "Negotiate Like the Big Guys." Onaitis owns her own sales training company. She lives in New York with her husband, Kenneth Onaitis, BBA '69, who is director of the crime victim prevention program for the Burden Center on the Aging in New York.

Michael Stewart, AB '69, is teaching English as an adjunct professor at Clark State Community College in Springfield, Ohio. A retired elementary teacher, Stewart is a naturalist for the Miami County Park District and state coordinator of the Leopold Education Project in Ohio. He has self-published a book of his nature poetry titled "Poetic Sojourns." Stewart and his wife have a son and a granddaughter.
