Scott A. Dupler, BBA ’90, has been promoted to staff officer at The Huntington National Bank in Lancaster. He is the senior financial analyst in the Portfolio Risk Management Department. He lives in Amanda.

Amber Fis her, BSJ ’90, was appointed community relations coordinator of Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.

H. Charles Ogg, BSJ ’90, is the afternoon anchor for WMAL-AM in Washington, D.C.

Peggy Parsons, BGS ’90, MED ’93, is internal marketing director and career services adviser at Ohio University’s Eastern Campus in Belmont County. She also serves as president of the OU alumni chapter in Belmont County.

Dennis Stacklin, BSC ’90, provided ABC-TV with satellite up link coverage of the Timothy McVeigh trial. In the past, he has been involved in other high-profile news stories, including those involving the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas; Pope John Paul’s U.S. visit; and this year’s Super Bowl.

Zelene Petula Cline-Cole, MA ’91, is the executive assistant to the vice president for Africa Programs and Information Systems at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation in Battle Creek, Mich. She assists in the strategic planning process, conducts research and drafts speeches .

Navy Petty Officer 2nd Class Matthew D. Raybould, BS ’91, was assigned to the aircraft carrier USS John F. Kennedy on a six-month deployment in the Mediterranean Sea and Persian Gulf.

Joseph Savarise, BSJ ’91, is a public affairs coordinator for the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Ohio in Columbus. A former staff member of the Ohio House of Representatives, he works with Timothy A. White, BSJ ’87, who is director of public affairs for the same association.

Christopher Thomas Baker, AB ’92, recently graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Ky., with a master of divinity degree. He serves as senior pastor of the Butler Free Methodist Church in Butler, Pa.

Melissa Eddings, BFA ’92, is an instructor of art at Ohio Northern University in Ada.

Terrance Lee Reimer, BFA ’92, staff photographer at The Sandusky Register, won four awards in the 1997 Division II Associated Press Society of Ohio awards contest. He placed first and second in the feature category, first in the illustration category, and received an honorable mention in the photo essay category.

Dan Welt, M.D., BS ’92, is a second-year resident in family practice at Flower Hospital in Sylvania. He graduated from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo in 1996.

Mitchell E. Simmons, BSME ’92, MS ’93, has been promoted to captain in the U.S. Air Force. He has spent a three-year tour at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, wh ere he worked with the F-22 Fighter Program. He was awarded an Air Force Achievement Medal and Commendation Medal for his work on the F-22.

Holly Loughry Cunningham, BSJ ’93, is associate director of college relations for Ohio Valley College, a Christian liberal arts school in Parkersburg, W.Va. She also owns her own small business, providing writing, editing and design services.

Andrew Safnauer, BSC ‘93, is creative director for Rubber City Radio Group in Akron. He married Eliz abeth Clark on Oct. 11 and they live in Akron.

Mehmet Murat Sahinog-lu, MS ’93, is vice president of TradeSoft Financial Software and Consulting Inc. in Istanbul, Turkey.

David Schrom, BSJ ’94, earned his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law in May. He is a first lieutenant in the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General’s Corps and is assigned to the Corps Headquarters at Fort Hood in Killeen, Texas.

Stephanie Arndt, BSSPS, ’95, is general manager of the Wyandotte Athletic Club in Columbus.

Colin Crosby, BSED ’95, a vice consul with the U.S. State Department, recently accepted his first post as a foreign service officer. Based in Manila, he will be in the Philippines for two years.

Steven Sushka, BS ’96, a Marietta missionary, was evacuated in March from the U.S. Embassy in Tirana, Albania, after rebels took over the country. He was six months into a one-year assignment.
