Dana Kisor, BSEE ’80, and his wife, Jennifer, are operating First Farm Inn, a bed and breakfast on an 1870s vintage farm in Burlington, Ky., near Cincinnati. Dana doubles as a computer programmer.

Jonathan D. Meyer , BFA ’80, is cultural arts director for the Flanzer Jewish Community Center in Sarasota, Fla.

Richard P. Reiss, BSED ’80, is vice president for institutional advancement at William Paterson University in Wayne, N.J.

Kim Richey, BSRS ’80, earned a Grammy nomination for co-writing the Trisha Yearwood country music hit “Believe Me Baby (I Lied).” Richey also has released the albums “Kim Richey” and “Bitter Sweet.”

Ken Gardener, MFA ’81, was promoted to associate pro fessor in the Drama Department of California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks.

Ronald Ranallo, BBA ’81, was promoted to director of audit, measurement and analysis for Aeroquip-Vickers Inc. in Maumee. He is responsible for a global internal auditing program as well as business analysis, performance measurement and financial capability development.

Jacob R. Clark, BSJ ’82, was winner of the 1997 Quill & Badge Award for Excellence in Communications, which honors writing dedicated to law enforcement coverage. A staff writer at Law Enforcement News since 1988, he was recognized for his series on tribal police. He lives in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Thomas B. Evans, BBA ’83, is chief financial officer for Voyager Expanded Learning in Dallas. The company provides tuition-based educational enrichment programs for public schools.

Siva Sivagnanam, MS ’83, is the senior statistics/planning officer at the Swinburne University of Technology in Australia.

David Black, PHD ’84, is the new president of Eastern College, a Christian arts and sciences college of 2,400 students in St. Davids, Pa., in the western suburbs of Philadelphia. Black had served as president of Lakeland College in Sheboygan, Wis., for nine years.

Michelle Lynn Chippas, BSJ ’84, has been named project director of Tobacco-Free Ohio, a collaborative effort of the American Cancer Society, the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association and the Ohio Department of Hea lth. A resident of Dublin, she was the state executive director of Mothers Against Drunk Driving from 1990 to 1995.

Byron White, BSJ ’84, has been named a member of the editorial board at the Chicago Tribune. He formerly was editorial page editor of the Cincinnati Post and head of the urban affairs team on the Tribune’s metro desk. He joined the Tribune in 1994 as a reporter. White recently was named a fellow of the 1997-98 class of Leadership Greater Chicago.

Lance Zeck, BFA ’84, won an Emmy for best art direction on a drama series for his work as artistic director on the soap opera “Days of Our Lives.” He currently is an artistic director for “Sunset Beach.”

Carol Griffith, MFA ’85, combined her artwork with the work of six other art instructors at Columbus College of Art and Design in the exhibit “7 Meanings/7 Ways” at The Gallery at Studio B in Lancaster.

Paul Carringer, MBA ’86, has joined Badertscher Communications in Mario n as vice president of business development. He had worked for Mills/James Productions in Columbus for the past three years.

Christine Germann, MSJ ’87, is coordinator of the Rosewood Arts Center Gallery in Kettering in suburban Dayton. She also teaches photography at the arts center.

Jack A. Lockspeiser, MBA ’87, is the new administrator of Professional Health Imaging, a radiology center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Emily Caldwell, BSJ ’88, is a public relations coordinator on the News Services staff at Ohio State University. Her husband, Patrick Keenist, AB ’88, MED ’97, is a special education teacher in the Champaign County schools. They live in Columbus.

Kurt Leibensperger, MA ’88, is a member of the board of directors and membership co-chair of the Advertising Federation of Greater Akron. He is a network account executive for WNIR-FM and Cleveland-Akron Television (CAT Network).

Kevin Witham, MA ’88, has been promoted to associate director o f admissions at Ohio University.
