Pamela Pierce, BA '90, manager of management development for Frito-Lay Inc. in Dallas, has earned certification as a senior professional in human resources.

Rob Roy, BSC '90, producer of MSNBC's "Newsfront," lives in Bogota, N.J., with his wife, Michelle, and daughter.

JoAnna Pettit-Almasude, BFA '91, MFA '93, a professional artist who works in digital, oil on canvas and bronze, has displayed her work at solo exhibitions throughout the world, including at Harvard University and the Piazza Cavalli in Italy. She and her husband, Amar Almasude, MA '93, MA '98, and their son, Julian, live in Florence, S.C.

Edward Clark Jr., BS '91, completed his Peace Corps assignment in August 2000 and is an environmental consultant with the Philippine government in Maragondon Province.

Joe Cogliano, BSJ '91, left his position as a staff writer for The Beavercreek News-Current to be a stay-at-home father and a contributing writer for The Dayton Business Journal. He and his wife, Julie, have two children, Anthony and Austin, and live in the Dayton, Ohio, area.

Jonathan Daniel, BSC '91, is entering his fourth year as the producer, writer, photographer, editor and voice-over talent for "Rays Weekly," a TV magazine show on Fox Sports Florida about the Tampa Bay Devil Rays. Daniel, who also works part time for the Fox affiliate WTVT, lives in Clearwater, Fla., with his wife, Susan, and their son.

Anthony DeSimone, MA '91, is a sociology instructor at Cincinnati State Technical and Community College.

Jamie Perez, MED '91, of Ostrander, Ohio, recently published "The Perpetual Flame: Offering Acceptable Worship Unto God," a messianic Jewish perspective on God's revelation at Mount Sinai.

James Sallah, BSC '91, MS '93, is an attorney with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission's Enforcement Division. He investigates and prosecutes federal securities law violations from the SEC's Miami office.

Kathleen Szmit, BSJ '91, a special education aide at a middle school in Keene, N.H., married David Manwaring in August. She has a son, Ryan, 8.

Barbra Tingley, MA '91, and her husband, P. Ryan Parker, had a son, Jacob Steven Parker, in February. She is a physical therapist at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland.

Lynne Sullivan Walker, BSJ '91, is senior account executive and director of events, promotions and public relations at Larry John Wright Advertising in Mesa, Ariz.

Long An, MA '92, works for the Department of Public Social Services in Los Angeles County, Calif.

William Cooper, BSEE '92, MBA '94, who graduated from the University of Akron School of Law with a juris doctor and master's degree in taxation, is a patent attorney at Amin & Turocy in Cleveland.

Melanie Clutter Hirselj, BBA '92, of Charleston, S.C., and her husband, Mark, had a daughter, Morgan Ann, in April. They also have a son, Andrew.

Thomas Hough, BSC '92, is a radio host at KYPT "96-5 The Point" in Seattle.

Timothy Kern, BSEE '92, MBA '00, is an engineering project coordinator in Ohio University's Office of Facilities Planning. He recently finished an active duty tour with the Ohio Air National Guard at Mansfield, Ohio, where he was a civil engineer. His twin brother, Daniel Kern, BSEE '92, is a training manager at Cutler Hammer/Eaton in Westerville, Ohio. Their father, Arthur Kern, BSEE '50, is retired from Emerson Electric Corp. and lives in New Hope, Pa.

Chuck Kiraly, BBA '92, is vice president of mutual fund administration for Roulston Funds and a trustee of the Cleveland International Program. His wife, Elaine Long Kiraly, BSJ '94, is graphic designer/marketing coordinator for URS Corp. They were married in October 1997 and live in Cleveland.

Melissa Eddings Mancuso, BFA '92, an assistant professor of art at Ohio Northern University, was promoted to chair of the Art Department in fall 2000.

Kelly Meyer, BS '92, earned a doctorate in veterinary medicine from Ohio State University in 1997 and is an associate veterinarian with the Western Hills Veterinary Clinic in Middletown, Ohio. She and her husband, Daniel Clark, live in Monroe, Ohio.

Lenny Schafer, BA '92, earned a master's degree in education from Kent State University in 1995 and is a founding member of Choices Alternative High School in Canton, Ohio.

Brian Steel, BSC '92, and Elizabeth Wickham Steel, AB '93, who were married in October 1998, had their first child in August. Brian is a manager at Robert Half International in Columbus.

Warren Throckmorton, PHD '92, director of counseling at Grove City College in Grove City, Pa., recently hit the No. 1 spot on mp3.com's Christian rock chart with his song "Near the Son." Another song, "Play With Me," hit No. 1 on the site's family music chart.

Mary Salisbury Freitas, MA '93, married Bill Freitas in July 2000 and teaches history at H.B. Plant High School in Tampa, Fla.

Amy Good, BSED '93, MED '97, who recently achieved National Board for Professional Teaching Standards certification, is completing her doctoral dissertation at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville.

Rick Kidd, AAS '93, BSN '97, is a helicopter flight nurse with OMNIFlight Transport Systems in Charleston, S.C.

Bill Mann, BSC '93, is production sales manager at the visual communications business PPS Group in Cincinnati and vice president of the Advertising Club of Cincinnati.

Leanna Nibert Martin, MED '93, and her husband, Rick, had their second child, Grace Margaret, in April 2000. Their first child, Ralph "Jarrett," was born in March 1996. She teaches in Gallia County (Ohio) Local School District.

Jennifer Beck Muscarello, BA '93, and Jesse Muscarello, BS '93, were married in April 2000 and live in Hoboken, N.J. Jesse, a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, is a corporate bond trader at Gruntal & Co., and Jennifer, a member of Delta Zeta Sorority, is a senior analyst for Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York.

Neil Schmidt, BSJ '93, and his wife, Lisa Bodner Schmidt, BSED '94, had a son, Gabriel Dennis, in April. Lisa is a kindergarten teacher in Mount Healthy, Ohio, and Neil is a sports writer for The Cincinnati Enquirer.

Kathryn Simcox, BA '93, is office manager of the administration department at Ohio State University's James Cancer Hospital in Columbus.

Rochel Wetzel, BSHE '93, an interior designer with Karlsberger Cos. in Columbus, recently passed the National Council for Interior Design qualification examination.

Vicki Alberghine-Gergely, BSH '94, and her husband, Mark, of Selden, N.Y., recently had their first daughter, Alexis Morgan.

Margaret "Peggy" Dillon, MSJ '94, PHD '97, of Mount Rainier, Md., had her book, "Seeking the Greatest Good: The Public Welfare Foundation," published last year. She also received a Gold Award at the Wilmer Shield Rich Awards Program for Excellence in Communications.

Deborah Solochek, BS '94, earned a doctorate from the National College of Naturopathic Medicine and recently opened a practice in a cultural and healing arts center in Portland, Ore.

Jennifer Saddler Thomas, BSC '94, and Jason Thomas, BSAS '95, of Nashport, Ohio, had a son, Ryan Vincent, in December 2000.

Debra Baker Black, BSEE '95, an assistant product manager at Joslyn Manufacturing Co. in Chicago, married David Black in January.

Laurie Carr Charley, BSED '95, and John Charley, BBA '96, married in June 1999 and had their first daughter, Sarah Elaine, in September 2000. She is a third-grade teacher at Pickerington Elementary, and he works for the Social Security Administration. They live in Worthington, Ohio.

Andrew Kenner, BSME '95, and Dhinali Perera Kenner, BBA '95, had a daughter, Jaden Sonali, in January.

Abbe Peters Sargeant, BSRS '95, MSPE '96, married Russell Sargeant in December 2000. They live in Sydney, Australia.

George Zamary, BSC '95, is an associate of the law firm Rendigs, Fry, Kiely and Dennis in Cincinnati.

Daniel Boltz, BSCE '96, MS '98, married Renni Nippert, BSED '99, in April. He is a structural design engineer at Lock One Inc. in Marietta, Ohio, and she is an elementary teacher in Noble County.

Amy Urbanyi Dalton, BSJ '96, is an e-commerce consultant at U.S. Steel of Pittsburgh. She and her husband, Scott, recently bought their first home in Mount Lebanon, Pa.

Shawn Kerger, DO '96, is associate director at a family practice residency and a sports medicine fellowship program in Toledo.

Doug Kester, BSSPS '96, MSPE '98, married Kate Mullen, BBA '00, in September 2000. They live in the Seattle area.

Sara Kulakoski Murdock, BA '96, married Jay Murdock in April. She is the safety coordinator for the Greenville County (S.C.) chapter of the American Red Cross.

Jacquelin Palmer Weber, BSS '96, is special events and development coordinator in Ohio University's Office of Development. She married Daniel Weber in April 2000.

Seth Apple, BS '97, of Morristown, N.J., earned a degree from Syracuse University Law School in June 2000 and graduated with an advanced law degree from the University of Miami in Florida.

Ronald Smith, BSC '97, is human resources manager at Rose Mary Center, a home for multihandicapped children in Cleveland.

Melanie Zygowski Stanforth, BSHS '97, and Jeremy Stanforth, BSJ '97, married in October 2000 and live in Pittsburgh. Melanie is a speech-language pathologist at The Early Learning Institute, and Jeremy is an associate with Burson-Marsteller, a public relations firm.

Robert Villanueva, MPA '97, of Timonium, Md., is executive director of the Maryland Council on Cancer Control, which advises the governor and state agencies on cancer control policy. He previously was the government relations manager for the American Cancer Society of Maryland.

Meghan Gray, BSC '98, married James Arndts, BBA '98, in March. They live in Charlotte, N.C., where James works for Arthur Andersen.

Carmen Allen Cordisco, BSC '99, a corporate recruiter for Cass Information Systems in Columbus, married Todd Cordisco in October 1999.

Jodi Eschmeyer, MPT '99, and Robert Hamilton, BA '97, were married in September 2000 and live in Chicago.

Gene Harris, PHD '99, was named superintendent of Columbus City Schools in June. She has spent most of her 26-year career in Columbus schools as a teacher, principal, assistant superintendent and, most recently, deputy superintendent.

Andrea Marlese Montgomery, BS '99, of Willoughby Hills, Ohio, recently was selected to be a Fulbright Memorial Fund Fellow in Japan. The program allows distinguished primary and secondary school teachers to travel to Japan for three weeks to promote greater intercultural understanding.
