Robert Fox, MA '70, of Columbus recently had a chapbook collection of his poems, "Greatest Hits, 1965-2000," published by Pudding House Publications.

Steve Iseman, BFA '70, a professor in the Department of Communication Arts at Ohio Northern University, is a member of the board of directors of the Central Ohio Public Relations Society of America.

Linda Van Gilder Kelley, BSED '70, received the 2001 Alumni Leadership Award from the University of Colorado, Denver. A former teacher, Kelley helped facilitate a $5 million donation to support the Film Studies program. She and her husband, Richard, also established the Kelley Student Academic Travel Fund, which provides stipends for students to study throughout the world.

Jonathan Stewart, BSED '70, is a senior vice president at Martin Marietta Materials Inc. in Raleigh, N.C.

Jamie Alcroft, BSC '71, part of the "Mack & Jamie" comedy team, recently performed on "The Tonight Show" and co-authored the book, "Remember WhenŠ" He and his wife, Sarah, live in Westlake Village, Calif., with their three children.

Sang-Hoon Bang, BBA '72, received an honorary doctor of mass communication degree at Ohio University's 2001 undergraduate commencement. He was honored for his contributions to the field of communications and dedication to freedom of the press. He is publisher, president and CEO of Korea's largest daily newspaper, Chosun Ilbo, vice president of the Korea Committee of the International Press Institute and CEO and president of the Korea Database Promotion Center.

R. Marc Kantrowitz, BA '72, MA '74, a Massachusetts Appeals Court associate justice, published his first nonlegal book, "Images of America: Canton," about Canton, Mass.

Jerry Roberts, AB '72, is managing director of e-business design, strategy and operations for Chicago Mercantile Exchange Inc.

William Francis, PHD '73, retired from Western Illinois University in August 2000 after 28 years as a professor, clinical supervisor and graduate adviser in the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program.

Michael McIntosh, BS '73, associate professor of nutrition at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, received the 2000-01 UNC Board of Governors Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Sally Mitchell, BS '73, director of pediatrics at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, recently was inducted into the Fairborn (Ohio) City Schools Hall of Honor.

Alan Moore, BSED '73, who retired in 1997 after 26 years of service with the U.S. Army, has served as a program manager for Sprint Corp. and was selected as a military analyst for the U.S. government. He lives in Leavenworth, Kan., and is involved in the Army's research of a new transformation force structure.

Russ Sutton, BSJ '73, MS '80, owner and president of Sutton Advertising Agency Inc. in Holland, Pa., is an adjunct professor at Philadelphia University.

David Wolfort, AB '74, was named president of Olympic Steel Inc. in Cleveland in February. He continues to serve as a director and chief operating officer, positions he has held since 1995. He joined the company in 1984 and served as a vice president from 1987 to 1995.

Ken Alessi, BBA '75, is vice president of operations for GS Metals in Pinckneyville, Ill.

Roberta Alexander, MSJ '75, is news editor of The San Francisco Daily Journal, a newspaper for lawyers.

Alan Frohichstein, BFA '75, of Morton Grove, Ill., is a member of the board of directors of the Ophthalmic Photographers Society.

Jeffrey Finkle, BSC '76, is CEO of the International Economic Development Council in Washington, D.C.

Lynette Twupack, BSC '76, is managing director of the executive search and interim management firm Flynn, Hannock Inc. in West Hartford, Conn.

James Bollman, BSED '77, recently became offensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Ohio State University after 24 years of coaching football at the college and professional levels. He and his wife, Theresa Claffey Bollman, BSHEC '78, live in the Columbus area.

Robert Chalfant, BSEE '77, is vice president of sales and marketing at Standard Communications in Torrance, Calif. He is president of the local Harvard Business School Alumni Club.

Dean Cherchiglia, BBA '77, is an associate counsel/assistant secretary at Ohio Savings Bank. He and his wife, Susan Sonkin Cherchiglia, BSED '77, live in Shaker Heights, Ohio, with their children, Brian and Evan.

Jeff Harmon, BSED '77, who represents the hydraulic group Parker Hannifin Corp., passed the Fluid Power Society's engineering test to become a certified fluid power hydraulic specialist. He and his wife, Jan, have twins, Jack and Billy, and live in Sidney, Ohio.

Joyce Rife, BSN '78, recently retired after 33 years as a nurse for Lancaster (Ohio) City Schools.

Eric Stein, MFA '78, recently installed his sculpture, "Pixel Topo," at Navy Pier in downtown Chicago as part of the Pier Walk 2001 show.

Timothy Wurst, BSED '78, is a teacher at Lakota West High School in West Chester, Ohio, and secretary of the Butler County Democratic Executive Committee. He earned a master's degree in history from Xavier University in 1992.

Leslie Guhl, AB '79, is a lawyer specializing in helping claimants obtain Social Security disability benefits. She and her husband, Curtis Guhl, BS '76, have two children and live in Seabrook, Texas.

Mark Oesterle, BS '79, of Charlotte, N.C., is directing the expansion of E-Commerce Technology North Carolina, an IBM business partner providing e-commerce solutions to small and mid-size businesses.

Joanne Utley, BSJ '79, an assistant art director at Newsday, married Joachim Baksh in March. They live in Huntington Station, N.Y.

Sherry Lemaster Woodroof, BMUS '79, MM '82, teaches voice at Pepperdine University in Malibu, Calif., and is associate conductor for the Angel City Chorale in Los Angeles.
