about Bobcat Football 2004!
As the days shorten and turn cooler, a sports fan's thoughts turn to football. How about making plans to catch the Bobcats in a game (or two, or 10)?
If you're in town, make sure to attend a home game -- especially this year, which marks Peden Stadium's 75th birthday. But no matter how far from Athens you are, there's a way for you to follow Bobcat football.
The Schedule

Sept. 4: VMI, 7 p.m. (Communiversity Day/First-Year Students Day)

Sept. 25: Buffalo, 7 p.m. (Band Day/Hall of Fame Weekend)
Oct. 2: at University of Kentucky, Lexington, Ky., 7 p.m.
Oct. 9: Marshall University, 1 p.m. (Parents Weekend/Green & White Club Day)
Oct. 16: at University of Toledo, 7 p.m.
Oct. 23: Bowling Green State University, 2 p.m. (Homecoming)
Oct. 30: at Kent State University, 4 p.m.
Nov. 6: at University of Central Florida, Orlando, 4 p.m.
Nov. 13: University of Akron, 1 p.m. (Football and Cheerleader Alumni Day)
Tickets
Game tickets can be purchased in person at the Athletic Ticket Office in the Convocation Center; by phone at 740-593-1300 or toll-free 1-800-575-CATS; or online at www.ohiobobcats.com. Ticket prices for home games are $12 to $14; away game tickets cost $22 to $25. All fans ages 2 and up must have a ticket; kids under age 2 do not need a ticket, but must sit on someone's lap. The next best thing to being there:
For the tenth season, Bobcat football games will be broadcast on the Ohio Sports Network. OSN includes 11 radio stations in southern Ohio and northern West Virginia as well as four TV stations in Ohio, West Virginia and Virginia. The Ohio News Network, carried on digital cable systems statewide, also broadcasts games. Online, catch the 'Cats on Yahoo! Sports. Or sign up to listen to radio broadcasts from any telephone anywhere in the world -- or even your PC or laptop -- via the Teamline service.

Bobcat Bunch
Kids ages 13 and younger can join the Bobcat Bunch, the University's first club just for kids. Along with lots of goodies and special opportunities, members receive free admission to select football and basketball home games as well as all home regular-season games for other sports. Pepsi Tailgreat Park
Get into the spirit of a Saturday contest at Pepsi Tailgreat Park, across from Peden Stadium. Two hours before every home game, fans can enjoy games, face-painting, music and other festivities. There's even a hot dog-eating contest before the Virginia Military Institute game on Sept. 4! Stay tuned to www.ohio.edu/alumni/ for additional activities.
Bobcat Bash Tailgate Parties
If the Bobcats are coming to a town near you, join fellow alumni and friends at a Bobcat Bash Tailgate Party, sponsored by the Ohio University Alumni Association and Ohio Athletics. From a river cruise in Pittsburgh to a down-home barbecue in Kentucky, you can enjoy good food, register for door prizes and giveaways, and get ready to cheer the Bobcats to victory!
