"The Art of the Engineer," an exhibition of historical technical drawings by Russ College Engineering Students, will be on display throughout fall quarter in Alden Library's fifth floor exhibit space.

The University Program Council will bring filmmaker Spike Lee to Templeton Blackburn Alumni
Memorial Auditorium Oct. 5 at 8 p.m. Lee is known for such films as "School Daze," "Mo

Paralympic Athlete D. Wyeth will speak Oct. 7 in Moron 235 at 7 p.m.
The Kennedy Lecture Series will sponsor a political debate Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. in Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial auditorium. Titled "Electoral Politics and the Men Who Love It," the debate will feature political consultant James Carville and John Sununu, Chief of Staff to George Bush. The debate is free and open to the public.
MUSIC
Visiting artists "Electric Opera will perform Oct. 1 in the Music Building recital hall. Admission is
free.
The Wind Ensemble and Concert Band, conducted by John Clumer, will perform October 13 in Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
DANCE
"Faculty and Guests in Concert," a performance by the School of Dance faculty and the Lark
Quartet, will take place Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 at 4 p.m. at the Ridges Auditorium. Tickets are $7

The Lark Quartet will perform with string bassist Edgar Meyer Sept. 27 in Templeton Blackburn
Alumni Memorial Auditorium. This performance is part of a four-part series by the resident
