NOTE TO THE EDITOR:

The enclosed list(s) give names of students from the Athens campus who were candidates for degrees at the end of summer quarter. They are given in five categories to identify achievement and permit you to include those categories as your space and interest permit. The categories are: (1) graduate degrees; (2) seniors graduating with highest honors; (3) seniors graduating with high honors; (4) seniors graduating with honors; and (5) all other graduating seniors.

All of the students on the enclosed list(s) have home addresses that are within your distribution area.

ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University has announced the names of 577 students from the Athens campus who were candidates for degrees at the end of summer quarter.

Of these, 156 received graduate degrees. Of the remaining 345 candidates, 4 graduated with highest honors; 20 graduated with high honors and 52 graduated with honors.
