Ohio University President Robert Glidden, Director of the Ohio Department of Liquor Enforcement Tom Hooper and Athens Mayor Ric Abel will hold a news conference at the College Gate, Union Street, at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, to announce a $70,000 state grant for a pilot program to combat underage drinking. The grant to the city and university will fund an education and enforcement program that focuses on college and high school students.
