ANNUAL FALL BOOKSALE FRIDAY

ATHENS, Ohio -- The Friends of the Ohio University Libraries annual booksale is Friday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the seventh floor of Alden Library on the Athens campus.

"This fall's sale includes a special treat for local history buffs," said Friends President Dwight Woodward. "The folks over in Alden's archives have discovered a number of extra copies of the classic History of Ohio University by Thomas Hoover. We are offering this hardback book for only $10."

A new supply of fiction, literature, science and social science books and reasonably priced picture frames are also featured in the sale.

Books are priced at 50 cents to $1. Bargain bags of books are $2 after 4 p.m.

There is a pre-sale of books for members of the Friends starting at 9 a.m. Friends memberships are available at the door.
