ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio University Foundation Board has elected Ohio University alumni Frank Krasovec, Clarence Page and Stacia Roth to three-year terms as board trustees.
Krasovec, of Austin, Texas, completed a bachelor's degree in business administration in 1965 and a master's degree in business administration in 1966. Krasovec is chief executive officer, chairman and president of Norwood Promotional Products, an advertising imprint company that he founded. A 1999 recipient of the College of Business Award for Achievement in Business, he has served as the vice president of marketing for the Capitol Area Council Boy Scouts of America. He also served on the community board for the Austin Ronald McDonald House and has been involved with the Palmer Drug Abuse Program of Austin.
Clarence Page, of Silver Spring, Maryland, completed a bachelor's degree in journalism in 1969 and was awarded an honorary doctorate of letters in 1993. A syndicated columnist and editorial board member at "The Chicago Tribune," Page won the Pulitzer Prize for Commentary in 1989. He received the Alumni Association's Medal of Merit in 1990 and the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism's L.J. Hortin Distinguished Alumni Award in 1991. In 1993, he spoke at Ohio University's undergraduate commencement ceremonies.
Stacia Roth, of Cincinnati, completed a bachelor's degree in communication in 1982. Roth is associate director of the commercial products group at Procter & Gamble Co. A former president of Phi Beta Pi sorority, she is an active member of the Ohio University Alumni Association. She also is a sustaining member of the Republican National Committee and is the former chairman of the board of directors of the Women's Center at the University of Toledo.

"Their diverse accomplishments and dedication to Ohio University bring great strength to the board and we look forward to working with them for years to come."
The 49-member board is the governing body of The Ohio University Foundation, the fund-raising arm of Ohio University. An institutionally related, non-profit, tax-exempt, 501c(3) organization, The Ohio University Foundation is the repository for all private gifts to Ohio University through annual giving programs, capital and special campaigns and planned or deferred gifts.
During fiscal year 1998, more than $25 million was raised in total private contributions from more than 25,000 donors. The Ohio University endowment of $192 million is expected to provide the university with more than $7.75 million in academic, instructional and scholarship support this fiscal year.
