ATHENS, Ohio -- Thomas Hodson, an assistant for community relations to Ohio University President Robert Glidden, has been selected by the American Bar Association and the Eastern European Law Initiative to teach media relations to 60 Romanian judges in Bucharest, Romania, next week.
Hodson, an Athens attorney and part-time instructor at Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, is a former Athens County judge who has previously lectured to judicial organizations in the United States.
Hodson's trip is sponsored by the American Bar Association Central and Eastern European Law Initiative, which provides legal assistance to the countries of central and eastern Europe and the countries of the former Soviet Union.
