ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University and the Fraternal Order of Police have signed a three-year contract, including a 3 percent wage increase, contract language changes and an added holiday for the three-year period ending June 30, 2001.
The FOP represents about 18 officers in the Department of Campus Safety.
"The negotiations were very professional and cordial and resulted in an agreement that is not only acceptable but beneficial to Ohio University and the university police officers," said Ted Jones, director of Campus Safety.
