ATHENS, Ohio -- A change in policy distributing the Ohio University campus phone directory will allow students and local businesses to receive complimentary copies for the first time.

Off-campus students will be able to pick up directories at the Baker Center information desk from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays from Nov. 12 through Nov. 22. Students must furnish a valid university identification card to receive their copy. Students are limited to one copy and the directories are available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Local businesses who did not advertise in the directory can pick up their copies at Ohio University's Visitors Center at the corner of Richland Avenue and Shafer Street beginning at 8 a.m. Friday (Nov. 8).

In past years, directories were available for businesses who did not advertise in the directory and students for $3.75 apiece.

On-campus students will receive their copies through residence life staff beginning Friday, and Ohio University faculty, administrators and staff can pick up copies from their respective offices.

The directory includes all student, faculty and staff campus and home addresses and phone numbers as well as e-mail addresses. It also includes phone numbers to all university offices and a list of all emeriti faculty.
