ATHENS, Ohio -- A memorial service for Marion Alden will be held at 4 p.m. Friday, Nov. 12, in Galbreath Chapel on the Athens campus of Ohio University.

Alden, the wife of former Ohio University President Vernon Alden, died Aug. 26 at her home in Brookline, Mass.

Alden's children and grandchildren and President Robert Glidden will be among the participants in the ceremony.
