ATHENS, Ohio -- Patti Hawk has been named assistant director of facilities management for custodial services, filling the position Lois Roberts vacated when she retired in December. Hawk will assume her new position Thursday (May 1).

Hawk, formerly the assistant director of employment and organizational development at University Human Resources, directs and monitors the Department of Custodial Services' work for 65 campus buildings. She also oversees work assignments for the moving crew.

"I am looking forward to working with the Custodial Services staff," Hawk said. "The dedicated efforts of our Custodial Services staff contributes to the successful image that Ohio University enjoys."

Hawk joined the University Human Resources staff in 1995.

Hawk is an Athens native who earned her bachelor's degree from Ohio University in sociology/pre-law in 1994. She is currently working on her master's in higher education administration.
