ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University evening classes scheduled after 5 p.m. today on the Athens campus will be canceled because of weather safety concerns, Provost Sharon Brehm announced Tuesday afternoon.

University buildings, such as Alden Library and the Ping Recreation Center, will remain open this evening during regular hours.

Classes will resume as scheduled Wednesday morning according to information available at this time.
