ATHENS, Ohio -- The Friends of the Libraries of Ohio University will hold a summer book sale from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday (June 26) on the seventh floor of Alden Library on the Athens campus.

Books on a variety of topics will be available for sale. "We have more science books than usual," said George Bain, executive secretary for the Friends. "We also have a nice selection of literary items, history, and a lot of good foreign language books."

After 4 p.m. on the day of the sale, bags of books will be sold for $2 per bag.

Friends members may attend a pre-sale between 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Nonmembers also will have the opportunity to join the Friends of the Libraries at any time during the sale.
