ATHENS, Ohio -- "Paper Bound," an exhibition of finely designed book bindings created by members of the Guild of BookWorkers, opens to the public this week on the fifth floor of Ohio University's Alden Library on the Athens campus.
For the exhibition, 21 binders each bound a copy of the book "A Collection of Paper Samples from Hand Papermills in the United States of America" by Donna and Peter Thomas.
The exhibition provides viewers with a wide range of hand-made bindings and includes a binder's statement for each book.
The exhibition is open during library hours: 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m to 5 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday.
