ATTENTION EDITORS, NEWS DIRECTORS: Norman Chagnon, manager of the Ohio Department of Development's Thomas Edison Program, will be speaking at the dedication of the $13.3 million Konneker Research Laboratories at Ohio University at 10 a.m. Saturday. Remarks of speakers are expected to conclude about 10:30 a.m.

Brief remarks also will be offered by President Robert Glidden, President Emeritus Charles J. Ping, and by Ohio University alumnus and benefactor Wilfred Konneker, for whom the building is named. The structure, which was occupied in March, houses the Ohio University Edison Biotechnology Institute and the university's biomolecular engineering group.
