EXHIBITS

Hours for the galleries are:
Trisolini Gallery: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Ohio University Art Gallery: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Kennedy Museum of American Art: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday through Friday.

In the Kennedy Museum, "Teec Nos Pos", a collection of weavings, will be on display Jan.2-Feb. 13. Also in the Kennedy Museum, "Young People's Art-SE Ohio II" will be on display Jan. 2-Feb. 27. The Kennedy Museum will also have on exhibit "A Story of Flying" Jan. 17-Feb. 27.

At the Ohio University Art Gallery, "Alternatives-A Juried Photography Exhibition" will be on display Feb. 10-21.

In Trisolini Gallery a BFA Photo Exhibition will be on display Feb. 10-28.

An MFA exhibition by Stephanie Haynes and Joe Wisniewski will be on display in the Ohio University Art Gallery Feb. 24-28.

LECTURES

The Kennedy Lecture Series will host Daniel Schorr Feb. 10, 8 p.m., in Grover Center. Admission is free.

There will be a Lazaroff Lecture, featuring Omer Bartov, Feb. 17, 8 p.m., in Irvine Hall, Room 194. Admission is free.

The following speakers are part of the Winter Speakers Program of the Department of Environmental and Plant Biology. The lectures will take place in 104 Porter Hall at 4:00 p.m. A reception for speakers will take place in 417 Porter Hall at 3:30 p.m. Admission is free.

Jody Banks, from Purdue University, will present her lecture, "Sex Determination in Ferns," Feb. 13.

Michael Millay, from Ohio University, Southern Campus, will present his lecture, "Pennsylvanian Paleobotany-Macro and Microfossil Research," on Feb. 27.

MUSIC

Note: The following events are all free of charge.

The School of Music will present a Tuba and Euphonium Ensemble Feb. 11, 8 p.m., at the School of Music Recital Hall.

The School of Music will present a Faculty Recital, featuring Matthew James on saxophone, Feb. 12, 8 p.m., in the School of Music Recital Hall.

The School of Music will host visiting artists, Steigerwalt & Muller, for a Duo Piano Recital Feb. 13, 8 p.m., in the School of Music Recital Hall.

The Wind Ensemble & Concert Band will perform Feb. 15, 8 p.m., at Grover Center.

The School of Music will present a Faculty Recital, featuring singer Patricia Pease, Feb. 17, 8 p.m., in the School of Music Recital Hall.

The School of Music will host Diane Cawein, playing clarinet, Feb. 20, 8 p.m., in the School of Music Recital Hall.

A Jazz Concert will take place Feb. 21, 8 p.m., at Grover Center.

The Percussion Ensemble will perform Feb. 25 at 8 p.m. in the Music Building Recital Hall.

The Saxophone Ensemble will perform Feb. 26 at 8 p.m. in the Music Building Recital Hall.

THEATER

The School of Theater will present "Hedda Gabler" Feb. 11-14 & Feb. 18-21, 8 p.m., at Baker Theater. There will be a matinee performance on Feb. 21 at 2 p.m. Tickets are $8-$4. Call 593-4818 for more information.

PERFORMING ARTS

The Performing Arts Series will host The Cleveland Singers, a choir made up of faculty members from many Ohio colleges and universities, as well as faculty from Ohio secondary and elementary schools. They will perform Feb. 16, 8 p.m., at First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $10-$5. Call 593-1780 for more information.
