ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University MFA acting students will be on tour in Southeastern Ohio the week of Feb. 10-14 as part of their internship with Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park.
The eight students who form the Skilken/Brown Intern Touring Co. are performing an adaption of A.A. Milne's classic "Winnie-the-Pooh" at elementary schools in Athens, Washington and Meigs counties.
The company also will give a free performance of "Winnie-the-Pooh" for students, day care, home-schooled children and the public at noon Friday, Feb. 14 in the Forum Theater in the RTVC Building.
The group's tour schedule includes:

The Ohio University School of Theater MFA professional actor training program and Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park launched their new partnership in August. The Cincinnati program serves as the year-long internship for third-year MFA acting students. The students serve as resident artists and understudies, participate in the company's outreach touring company and participate in a two-week, 14-performance rotating repertory of two shows.
