ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University President Robert Glidden will testify before the Ohio House Finance and Appropriations Committee Thursday, Feb. 6, starting at 9:30 a.m. on the statehouse floor.

A member of the Higher Education Funding Commission Plan, Glidden will emphasize the need for strong state funding in the upcoming state budget and why Gov. George Voinovich's education funding proposal falls short of the Commission's goals.
