ATHENS, Ohio -- A representative from the National Basketball Association (NBA) will be on Ohio University's Athens campus Monday Feb. 10 to recruit OU students, alumni and faculty for jobs and internships this summer.

Marsha Sells, vice president for Organizational Development at the NBA, will present more than forty jobs, ranging from internships to entry-level positions to senior professional jobs, at 6 p.m. in 121B Computer Services Center. The NBA league office in New York has opportunities in several departments, including Creative Services, Communication Group, Human Resources, Team Services and Consumer Product Group (licensing). Internships are also available at NBA Entertainment, the NBA's video and production and photos facilities, in Secaucus, N.J.

Only two Ohio schools, Ohio University and Cleveland State University, were chosen as new recruitment sites. The decision was based on research compiled on Ohio schools, said Ada Williams, human resource representative for the NBA. The NBA did not disclose the criteria for their research.

The presentation is open to all students, alumni, faculty and staff. Interested persons should bring resumes and dress professionally.
