ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) is offering its annual special career counseling program Dec. 1 through Dec. 19 for prospective adult students, according to CPS Director Jim Gleason.
The program is designed for non-traditional students -- people who have been out of school and are considering enrolling at the university to resume college studies or complete an additional degree.
Individuals may have an interview with a counselor to explore vocational options and make educational plans or may elect to take an interest inventory to help identify career interests. There is a minimal charge for the inventory, but no charge for counseling.
Interested individuals should stop by CPS on the third floor of Hudson Health Center from 8 a.m. to noon or 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, or call 614/593-1616.
