ATHENS, Ohio -- Ohio University has announced the names of 457 students from the Athens campus who were candidates for degrees at the end of winter quarter.

Of these, 55 received graduate degrees having earned at least a 3.0 grade point average.

Of the remaining 402 candidates, 86 graduated with high honors, having earned an accumulative grade point average of 3.5 or better on a 4.0 scale (straight A's), and 158 graduated with honors, having earned an accumulative grade point average of between 3.0 and 3.499.
