Trisolini Gallery: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Ohio University Art Gallery: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Dairy Barn Cultural Arts Center: 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday through Sunday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday.
Kennedy Museum of American Art: 12 p.m. to 5 p.m., Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday; 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Saturday and Sunday.

BFA Exhibition: Sculpture will be on display April 13-24 at Trisolini Gallery.

"This Old Print Shop" will be on display April 15 through June 15 at Kennedy Museum of Art.

Paintings by Carl Ostendarp are on display through April 24 at Ohio University Art Gallery.

Paintings and sculpture by Gail Fitzgerald are on display through April 24 at Ohio University Art Gallery.

BFA Exhibition: Photography will be on display April 27 through May 8 at Trisolini Gallery.

Sculpture and an installation by Linda Herritt will be on display April 30 through May 22 at Ohio University Art Gallery.

"Hands on to Weaving" is on display through June 30 at Kennedy Museum of Art.

MUSIC

Note: All music events are free of charge. Unless otherwise noted, the scheduled performances will take place at 8 p.m. in the School of Music Recital Hall.

Faculty Recital, featuring soprano Marjorie Bennett, will be held on April 6.

Horn Mill Project (Horn Quartet in residence) will perform on April 7.

Director Mark Phillips will present the New Music Ensemble on April 20.

Faculty Recital, featuring pianist Alejandro Cremaschi, will be held on April 24.

Conductor Kimo Furumoto will present a symphony orchestra concert featuring student soloists at 8 p.m. April 27 at Athens Middle School.

Visiting artist Jay Crone will present a tuba/euphonium concert on April 28.

Mom's Weekend Choral Concert will be held at 4 p.m. May 1 at First United Methodist Church.

A Faculty Recital, featuring messo-soprano Patricia Pease, will be held on May 5.

PERFORMING ARTS

Hesperus with Bonnie Rideout will present "A Celtic Evening" at 8 p.m. April 17 at First United Methodist Church. Tickets are $10-$5 and can be reserved at the Haning Hall Box Office at 593-1780.

LECTURES

The Gifford Doxsee North African Studies Lecture Series will host Professor Mark Tessler when he presents his lecture, "The Origins of Popular Support for Islamic Political Movements: Lessons from North Africa." Prof. Tessler will present his lecture at 7 p.m. April 22 at Scripps Hall Auditorium. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Visiting artist Ellen Dissanayake will present her lecture, "Art as Human Need: The Relevance of Biology to the Arts," at 7:30 p.m. April 27 and 29 at Seigfred Hall. For more information, call the School of Art at 593-4288.

The following speakers are part of the Spring Speakers Program of the Department of Environmental and Plant Biology. The lectures will take place at 4 p.m. in 104 Porter Hall. A reception for the speakers will take place at 3:30 p.m. in 417 Porter Hall. Admission is free.

Daniel J. Crawford, from Ohio State University, will present his lecture, "The Origin and Evolution of Plants on Oceanic Islands: Insights from Molecular Data," April 9.

Ross A. McCauley, from Ohio University, will present his lecture, "Conservation of Ohio's Endangered Cottonweed: Demographic and Genetic Assessment of Froelichia floridana," April 16.

James A. Duke, retiree from USDA, will present his lecture, "Medicinal Plants of the Amazon Rain Forest," April 23.

SPECIAL EVENTS

Moms' Weekend will take place April 30 through May 2. Bus information for moms from various cities in Ohio is available through the Office of Alumni Relations, 593-4300.
