2000 Ohio Wrestling Recruiting Class Ranked 24th
ATHENS, Ohio (July 18, 2000) -- The 2000 Ohio Wrestling recruiting class was recently ranked 24th nationally by InterMat Wrestling.
InterMat's rankings are based on a team's ability to sign impact wrestlers and wrestlers that meet team's needs, as well as the quantity and quality of wrestlers. Wrestlers are ranked within their weight classes nationally. Ohio's recruiting class includes athletes ranked second, eighth and honorable mention in their respective weights.
Head coach Joel Greenlee appreciates the recognition for Ohio wrestling. "It's great to have our program recognized as one of the best in the nation in attracting young talent. We are always excited to bring in new athletes that can raise the level of competition within our program."
