Ohio University to Close July 4 in Observance of
Independence Day
ATHENS, Ohio (July 3, 2000) -- Ohio University will be closed Tuesday, July 4 in observance of
the national Independence Day holiday. This includes all regional campuses, as well as the College
of Osteopathic Medicine and all branches of the University Osteopathic Medical Center. All five sites
-- UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square,
and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed. If you would like information about
the University Osteopathic Medical Center or wish to make an appointment, please call 740-593-1700
beginning Wednesday, July 5 during regular business hours.
The university will reopen Wednesday, July 5, operating under normally scheduled hours.
