Ohio University to Close May 29 for
Memorial Day
ATHENS, Ohio (May 25, 2000) -- Ohio University will be closed May 29 in observance of the national
Memorial Day holiday. The closure includes all five regional campuses, the College of Osteopathic
Medicine, and all branches of the University Osteopathic Medical Center. All five sites --
UOMC-Parks Hall in Athens, UOMC-O'Bleness in Athens, UOMC-Coolville, UOMC-Nelsonville Square,
and UOMC-Doctors Hospital in Nelsonville -- will be closed. If you would like information about the
University Osteopathic Medical Center or wish to make an appointment, please call 740-593-1700.
The university will reopen Tuesday, May 30, operating under normally scheduled hours.
