ATHENS, Ohio (April 4, 2000) -- The Ohio women's softball doubleheader against Penn State scheduled for Wednesday, April 5 has been cancelled. The Ohio home opener was set to begin at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, but was cancelled due to field conditions from extensive rainfall received over the last 72 hours.

Ohio's home opener is now scheduled for Friday, April 14 at 2p.m. with a Mid-American Conference doubleheader against Toledo.

The Bobcats next action features a pair of MAC doubleheaders at Eastern Michigan on Friday, April 7 and at Central Michigan on Saturday, April 8.

Admission for Ohio Softball games is $4 for adults and $2 for children under 12. Ohio University students are admitted free with a valid student I.D. All games are played at the Ohio Softball Field.
