Ohio Baseball Goes 1-1 Against Toledo
ATHENS, Ohio (March 26, 2000) -- The Ohio baseball team went 1-1 against Toledo today at Bob Wren Stadium. The
Bobcats won the first game, 6-2, and dropped the second game, 17-8, to the Rockets.
Three Bobcats hit home runs to highlight the first game. Senior Brian Wingfeld and juniors Andrew See and Cory
Keylor all hit home runs into right field. See finished the game with three hits, three runs and two RBI, including a
triple in the first inning. Keylor had two hits, one run and three RBI. Junior Denny McGee pitched seven innings,
allowing only two runs and posting six strikeouts.
In the second game, it was See and Keylor once again leading the Bobcats. Keylor hit his second home run of the
day in the fifth inning. He finished the game with two hits, one run and two RBI. See, who finished the game with
two hits, one run and one RBI, hit a double to center field in the sixth inning.
Ohio plays again on Tuesday when they host a game against Youngstown State. The first pitch is at 3:00 p.m.
